How to be good at English.

English is an international language. I think it is the most important language in the world. I have been studying English for 7 years at school and 6 years in the English Club. The most important thing for studying english is using your knowledge in practice. If you want speak English you alwys need practice. Travel to different English-speaking countries, live in host-families, communicate with different people or find pen friends. Pen friends is the cheapest variant, because you just need to pay for paper or for internet.

Crime and community

Street Art divides public opinion; it is seen by some as a way to brighten up our communities while it is considered by others to be nothing but vandalism. So, is it art or not?
These days, it is not only grannies who knit. In cities such as New York, London and Berlin, community art groups are busy ‘graffiti knitting’, creating colourful decorations for lampposts, parking meters, cars and statues. Now knitting needles are clicking worldwide and cities are inviting the knitters to transform their public spaces.

A letter to editor.

Dear  Sir\Madam,
I'm writing to the response to give suggestions to save haighstreets from vandalism and graffiti. This problem is very popular now days. A lot of news about vandalism but also another problem is graffiti. In my option these suggestions will help to make our city better.
Firstly, police may patrol our streets. Specially at night, because most of all vandalism situations happend at night time. As a result people would be feeling safe, when they go to the supermarket aat night.
Futhermore, people can make a community and paint cities with brigt colors but befor they must ask a resalution in police station. Consequenty, people can fell them like an artists and city will be more interesting, colorefull and bright! And also it can be a new sight.
I think that these two sggestions will help to make our city better because we live in our city and we want make our life better.
Yours faithfully,
Stace Bondarenko

Life Experience

Nowadays good manners are very important. I think if you have good manners it will be easyer to live in our civilization. As for me to have bad body odour is disgusting! I think nobody wants to have a discussion with someone who has bad body odour. Have bad table manners means that you aren't strong to differ from the cave person. Also I hate when somebody takes my own thing without asking! Because it is terrible when someone takes something yours without asking and after you can't find that thing!

When you traveling don't forget about manners and try to find some information about etiquette in country that you are going to visit. I want to tell you about social etiquette in UK. If you are meeting someone for the first time, extend a hand to say hello. Britons greet each other with firm handshakes. Hugs are rare, but kissing on the cheek is not unusual between friends or relatives. Also, it is important to make eye contact while speaking with someone; otherwise you will seem rude or insincere.  Use titles, such as Dr Smith or Mr Norris, to show respect, unless someone invites you to use their first name.

Nowdays a lot of people are not healthy. There are so many health problems because of gadgets. For example: Sending texst messages is as easy as moving your thumb. However, too much textin can couse thumb arthrist. This can lead to restriction of movement, swelling, and pain. To prevent this condition, known as texter's thumb, you should send fewer messages or use different fingers when you text.

Suggestions

1) Don't react if someone calls or teases.
To make it quite difficult, but it is in certain cases effective. For example: "Hare, hare!" - the schoolmate calls. Not to respond, won't address by name yet, to pretend that you don't understand to whom address. To tell: "I generally Vasya am called. And you unless called me?"
2) To speak.
It is possible to tell quietly calling contemporary: "To me very offensively to hear it", "Why you want me to offend?". (The largest in a class) other boy called one second-grader thick. On what the object of sneers told: "You know, something I don't want to be on friendly terms with you at all". It so impressed an aggressor that he apologized and ceased to be called.
3)Don't give in on provocation.
Schoolmates chased the pupil of the fifth class and called it Masyanya. He was angry and rushed on them with fists. All with delight ran up, and then started over again. It was offered to boy not to rush on offenders with fists next time, and to turn to them and quietly to tell: "I was tired, let's me have a rest".

Mother Nature

Weather on the Earth always changes. It is different in different parts of the world. For example Antarctica. In summer weather is quite mild. There are still a lot of gales, though and of course, the sun never sets in the in the summer, which is really weird!
In winter the temperature will drop to about -40°C and the sun won't rise at all! Work in Antarctica is very extremal but there are many other extremal thinks to do. You can wok racing, volcano surfing, bungee jumping and others. If you don't like extremal sports you can visit The Appalachian Trail. You can meet there raccoons, elks, moose and some dangerous animals like black bears.
Climate is changing. Global warming is a serious problem for wild life. Because of global warming some different animals are in great danger.
The Taiga, however, is in danger because of global warming and an increase in deforestation over the past decades. Fortunately, governments are now taking measures to protect this precious natural habitat. The Taiga, which means ‘forest’ in Russian, is the world’s largest biome. It consists of coniferous forests and covers a large part of Russia, Scandinavia, and North America. The Taiga has a subarctic climate with large differences in temperature between seasons. The trees of the Taiga have adapted to the low levels of sunlight and the extreme conditions. Winters are long and very cold with only snowfall, and temperatures can drop as low as -54°C. Sum m ers are very short but warm and humid; sometimes temperatures reach 30°C. The Taiga also hosts a wide variety of wildlife. It is home to Russia’s largest populations of brown bear, wolf, moose, reindeer, and red fox. It also has as many as 300 species of birds including the golden eagle and the great grey owl. How exactly is all this changing our world, and what will happen if we don't act in time?

How to resist peer pressuer.

Now days a lot of children have got the same problem: peer pressure from students. There are 3 suggestions: First trust your own feelngs and know your personal limits. Second choose you friends carefully. Third talk it through with someone you trust, such as a friend, teacher or parent.

First suggestion result can be that you will feel more confident in your actions. Second suggestion if your friends share your beliefs, you will reduce the amount of peer pressure you may experience. And third suggestion they might be able to give you helpful advice, as they probably have experience with peer pressure too.

As for me first suggestion and its result is the best because if you trust yourself and your own feelings. In future this is going to help you with another problems. If you learn how to trust yourself and life is going to be easy!

A holiday to remember

Last two weeks I spent in the winter camp in Lipno. I was there the second time. I met there a lot of new people! We stayed in 3 flats, so in one flat were 4-5 children. I lived with two girls and two boys. Every day we got up at 7 o'clock and at 8 o'clock was our breakfast. Sometimes we forgot about it because we overslept. But I want tell you about one our day.

It was th 13th of January and it was Jan's birthday. I was the initiator of his birthday party. I decorated living room in our flat and made the music playlist to his birthday. So, at 8pm everybody was in our flat. All 15 people! I asked my friend to turned on music but music didn't play! After 5 minuts Jan asked me to gave him my iPad, he turned on some songs that I didn't know, so, I went upstairs. At half past 10pm I heard strong blow and loud laugh. When I came downstairs I saw a picture: Jan was layed on the table, his best friend Misha was stayed next to the fireplace with frying pan and spoon, in front of him stayed Ilya with pan and fork, and something was layed on sofa under many pillows. After 20 minuts of this "hell" this Somthing stood up with two knifes and said: "Give me some sleep!!!" and went upstairs. When it was next to me it gaves me knifes and whisper: "Don't shout, please...". I can't remember what was after but in the morning in the living room I saw 10 bodies. Another 3 bodies were on the breakfast. I was stayed in the living room and Something went downstairs. This Something was my friend Asira!
